DTU LIFE Science & Bioengineering is a new 47,000 m2 building on the Campus in Kgs. Lyngby, which collects DTU Aqua, DTU Food and DTU Vet under one roof.
The project is designed by Christensen & Co Architects with COWI and Wessberg as engineering consultants. Give Stålspær with Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson as consultants manufactured the steel structure.
Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson carried out the detailed structural design of all the steel structures in and on the roof, including four large truss girders in the Biosphere roof, from which a large part of the floors below are suspended.
To be completed in 2016.
