The project:
The two schools Høje Gladsaxe and Marielyst in the nothern part of Zealand, Denmark were combined into one big school: Grønnemose skole. The school will be focused on movement and sports. With the change in administration came also an expansion of the school buildings and grounds.
The participants:
The school expansion is designed by White architects. Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson as consulting engineers carried out the detailed structural design of the impressive steel structure from Give Stålspær, that carries the glass roof in the atrium of the new Grønnemose skole.
Time frame:
The project was completed in 2014.
