Krøyers Plads is a significant location in the centre of the Copenhagen harbour area. The project consists of 3 five-story housing units, with folded roofs in a distinct architectural expression. The buildings contain 38 high end apartments in combination with a harbour front, a new square and lively and attractive restaurants on the ground floor.
The project has won a price for best residential development 2015 at MIPIM – an international real estate show in Cannes.
Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson carried out the detailed structural design of all the steel structures in the roof. Due to the complicated geometry of the roof structure and its interconnection with the concrete walls and floors of the building a 3D FE model was created for global verification of the in-plane roof stiffness.
The project was completed in 2015.
