The project:
Aalborg Studenterkursus is a high school (STX) in Jutland, Denmark. The school’s new building is a five story steel and concrete construction with a big open area in the center. The design of the school is light and open with numerous smaller environments for the students to hang out and study.
The participants:
The project is designed by Cubo Architects with Cowi and Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson as consulting engineers.
Our role:
Steel design as well as vibration serviceability study.
Time frame:
The new building was inaugurated in 2012.
