Energy & Industry
Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson has solid experience designing working with several aspects of the energy industry including construction and foundation design for several power plants, development of steel support for solar panels and a variety of overhead line structures for high-voltage power transmission (220 – 400 kV).
Our experience with structural design of buildings includes, but is not limited to residential buildings, industrial buildings, such as power plants, and commercial buildings, such as parking houses, hotels and arenas.
At Krabbenhøft & Ingolfsson, we have participated in several bridge engineering projects and our services extent beyond the traditional structural design. We are also strongly engaged in the structural dynamic aspect of bridge engineering. As the structures become longer and lighter, their susceptibility to vibrations from dynamic loads increases. Specifically the effects of dynamic wind loads and dynamic loads from pedestrians has increasingly become an important part of the bridge design.
